On Saturday 8 March 2025, some of the 2026WOMEN joined forces with the ‘Collecti.e.f 8 maars’ (Collective 8 March) in the event “We strike because we care” to fight for workers and women’s rights. The March for the International Women’s Day started at the Coninckplein and ended at the concert hall De Roma. Check the pictures in our Gallery.
Together with other partner organisations that promote social justice, including Madam Fortuna, we had an info stand at De Roma to promote the project. Our project’s co-coordinator, Céline di Maccio, gave an interview on the radio and we also shared some original songs from 2026WOMEN on stage.
With enthusiasm, resilience and strenght, we keep focused on our aim for structural changes: for ourselves, for the ones who came before us, and for the one’s who are yet to be born!
